This resonates with me because I feel we are shaped by our experiences. Even identical twins can develop different personalities if they grow up in families with different socioeconomic backgrounds or in different parts of the world, exposed to different cultures.

It also reflects the idea that my past self isn’t exactly who I am now. The only “me” that exists is the present, ever-evolving self.

That’s why people who share similar experiences often resonate with each other more than those who are simply related by blood.

I don't quote or catchphrase like you but i do like dad/bad/cringy jokes that make me or my victims to go "uuuggh shut up" even though they still smile or even chuckle. Heck even in school if I'm bored i would tell or look up bad/dad jokes to entertain myself on others suffering (plus i do legitimately find them funny).
