discussion dream sequences in h-games - do you skip them?

I don't usually skip them, but I'm not particularly fond of them either. Since they're just dreams, they often feel disconnected from the actual story. To me, they come across more as a character's thoughts or fantasies rather than real events, so they don't have the same impact or emotional intensity as scenes that are actually part of the narrative.

I don't skip, because it might be relevant for the plot, but I am not enjoying it either.

Depends, but often I see it used to let you see the Good Stuff before the characters would be ready for it.

I skim through them yea, they almost feel like spoilers to me! like if its a full dream sex scene, it feels unearned

I personally stop jerking off during dream sequences, they just feel too fake to get turned on by. even if the mc thinks of some crazy shit I prefer to hold off until something actually happens in the game. I'll go as far as to not download a game if I know the only sex in it is within a dream or flashback.

am I in the minority on this?

I like them but it's not where I'm going to finish for sure. It feels a little meta to be in a fantasy about a fantasy
