Do you skip through dialogue to get to the sex in games?

If the writing is good I usually don't skip. If the writing is really bad I usually don't play the game

I never skip, if the dialogue needs skipping then the game isn't worth your time. If you're just for the animations then there are some other media with better stuff

The story is a major part of the appeal. That said, I'm not here for the prose per se. I will sometimes skip over some dialogue if I feel like I'm not missing important plot points.

Through replays or following new paths, I will. Otherwise, I enjoy playing for the story along with the sex scenes.

If you don't give the story a chance, then why are you even playing a game for?
The entire difference between gaming and just videos is the build up and the relationship growth, the individual value of the thing instead of just passively watch videos running on their own.

Generally no, unless is really boring or a bad translation.

It depends on the day and game. Some games I will read through every line of a very extensive VN, others I wil start skipping straight from the intro because it just didn't gel with me in the first few lines. Takes a fair bit off the experience though.

I generally read the game. I'll only skip read text when replaying sections or alternate routes.
If it's not that good I'll skim or read quickly. But if I'm going to skip the text entirely I'll just drop the game. No point in it if I don't care about the story.

Most of the time i read everything, but when games for some reason go on a never ending tirade about plot stuff that dont really matter i skip. Happen more often in sci-fi settings. I assume most devs have a "normal" story in mind but slaps porn in it to get views lol

If the dev thinks their writing skills are better than their porning skills, then yes. Westy, Blackheart Games, Blondie Bear/Anonymous Dev, Pestus Games, Goosenards, Deaufousse, etc. I are here for harem booty, we don't need overly wordy, yet uninteresting stories.

depends on my mood at the time, when im in the mood i have read the full length story, even if the writing is poor, but then sometimes i just want to get to the action

if its a game with a big built up, i take my time to understand the plot. if its a game where you jump from scene to scene, i will most likely skip some

I do when my dong overrides my brain, but I always regret it because then I gotta go back and read the dialogue again. But like many others have said in this thread, if the writing isn't good enough to read, then the game isn't good enough to play.

Depends on the game and story.
This right here, I was playing fruit of grisaia and making lovers and reaaaally didn't want to skip anything, damn good games. But in other games like even The Guardian, it's kind of just ctrl for life

For me it depends on the quality of the writing and how well it enhances the immersion. Based on that it is anything from skip everything to read every line.
