discussion Do you skip through dialogue to get to the sex in games?

I fast forward to the first sex scene. If it is good and catches me, I give it a try. I dont like to buy the cat in the bag. I am here for the sex and not some mediocre storytelling. There are very... very few porn games out there that have a interesting/readworthy story. Especially when you play something contemporary.

Yes and no. If the story is good enough, I'll read through it, but there is a time where the characters ramble and I just gotta skip it all

I usually try to not skip parts, they make the sex scenes more alive and intimate, given that u know the character and u 'worked' for it. But sometimes the horniness make me read the text fastly or just even skip it, though I always return after to read it more calmly

Depends on my mood. If there's a specific character I like I might skip all other character dialogue to see that character's scenes and dialogue quicker.

Really depends on the story/writing if anything... Would love the context of the story before getting to the nitty gritty. Would only skip if I already seen the section of the story

Depends on the type of game, I've had games where I didn't skip because I liked the setup, story and dialogue and games where I skipped some parts too. But I didn't skip everything completely even when I do skip.

Really depends on the game - some games catch my attention, others are simply "visual" material. When skipping I do try stop regularly to keep up with the story.

Depends on the story and how it's written (language wise). I'm a speed reader though so I don't have problems with the text.

Some games have dogshit writing but good models and scenes those i will skip through. Most games ill read through though.

Depends how good the game draws me in, if its good storytelling i will read it all but if its poor writing or spelling etc then i will skim read it.

It depends really. If the writing is boring, sure, but I've discovered that skipping the story, the interactions between characters, the important little things, it really detracts from the whole point of it.

totally agree, I've had games that would take 10 hours to get to anything interesting if I just read what everyone had to say, because it's mostly filler.

But I would play a game with 10 hours of dialogue if it was interesting and felt worth it.

Even if the story is crazy convoluted or makes no sense, I like context with my smut, so I'll default to not skipping. If your game makes me want to skip everything for the art, at that point I'm finding a full save and not bothering with any of it.
