Do you prefer playing a VN with a Walkthrough Mod. Why/why not?

Navigating a VN with multiple endings path/LI can be a little confusing sometimes.... so i prefer games with walks built in. Even some with cheat incorporated to the game. There are game that it seems no matter what option i choose, i cant get that missing scene, and thats frustrating.

Even if I'm saving before every choices, I like to play with a walktrough mod... I don't want to miss a patch or I don't want to search which save I should load to find where I failed...

usually no except for the times when the path to take is batshit insane/something id never guess in a million years like the answer to a question in danganronpa unironically being the word "schizo" i wouldve never gotten it if i didnt use a guide for that

In my opinion a walkthrough helps alot, you dont want to miss a nice scene haha.
Specially in games where rollback is disabled haha

I prefer to play with an ingame WT first, then after saving...go back and try the other option(s)

That depends on how "convoluted" the choices and consequences are.
(VN that have certain point systems and so on)

If that decides the paths or the scenes I get to see and there is a lot of it i'd rather see what the outcome is.

I'm not fond of having to replay games I've played before, so I like to know what choices to make in order to get what I want.

Mostly with long games or confusing games, I prefer the walk-through.

Unless a game has peaked my interest enough for multiple times playing, I prefer to use a walkthrough.

I personally prefer to have the walkthrough, I hate getting to apoint then not being able to figure out how to get past it.

If i wanna skip through a game sure. If the game is very point heavy then also sure. I prefer games that arent very point heavy and if the game is not reliant on points then i wouldn't even use a walkthrough. I do like to have the option though so i will download it and then just not install it or turn it off. If im playing a game for the first time then i probably wont use walkthrough

I prefer playing a VN with a Walkthrough Mod or in-game walkthrough because for me it just makes the game more enjoyable and helps make decisions so I don't miss content or go down a path I may not want to go.

99% of the time I will use it. It has to be a great story and renders for me to go back and play it again without a update.

I prefer to play games without a walkthrough because is like to be surprised.

I'm too old to waste my time with trial and error, walkthrough mods all the way

Absolutely... Time is money (and free time is even more expensive for me) so no time to waste on trial and error.

yes if it is something useful to facilitate assembly or help with all the paths

I prefer using it, and I think the best walkthrough is the one that tells you what you get from each choice.

I prefer walkthroughs because the good paths are sometimes very strangely located.
