I like playing faceless Mc games cause a lot of the times the pre-made face looks out of place plus its supposed to be the player not a pre-made face

Depends on the game for me, but usually the faceless is weird or makes the whole thing seem out of place

I do prefer first person.

Tho i mostly ignore how my character looks.
The only execption is the mop hair character.
Also known as the rapist haircut.
Whoever designed that should be hanged.

I don't mind a face as long as it looks good and fits in with the theme. The only exception is the ‘ugly bastard’. Always terrible.

It depends hard on the MC model. some are good but there some models that are so bad, that i have to drop the game.

If the game is good it doesn't matter to me.

Yes, I always prefer a faceless character. It’s always a disappointment when you see them.

Why do they need to be faceless. A good face is needed. Just don't want the MC to be an ugly or ancient MC

I don't care either way tbh. However it is better faceless or first person POV when I want to make it feel like I am more in the game.

My preference is faceless but I am fine either way for the most part.

I dont really care since i dont self-insert myself into the game, for me its more like reading a book.

no bigger difference for me. a face can sometimes add to the realism of the character, but sometime make it hard to attach

To me It doesn't matter mainly because in my view almost all the mcs look so similar

I prefer faceless but i'm also fine with a defined face, so long as it isn't completely hideous or badly made

Usually yes, I prefer a faceless one. I don't think of the MC as myself, but still, some kind of pseudo-me, if I can (there are choices, I can be not a real asshole, etc.). And I can't relate to the most "faced" protagonists, their body (fat, musclehead), their smug faces, their stupid hairstyles.

But there are games, when the MC has face, and real personality, and it's a joy to play him, even thoug he is almost not me. Like in The Last Sovereign, Simon is a better hero then I ever could be.

Any which way is fine for me, I can appreciate how Melatonin Magicks made obscuring the MC's face a running gag.

prefer faceless MCs as most devs just use the most generic poor looking faces for the mc especially in male protagonist games

I don't care either way.

i get the faceless but it is kinda boring
always preferable to be able to make the male protagonist
