Do you play AI-made games?

I've tried a few but the inconsistencies in the art are too jarring. Can't get invested if the character I like looks different in every scene.

Only up to a degree. If even the plot is fully created by AI, at least for now, you can still feel it.
But if it's only art I can tolerate it

Like a lot of others here, I'm fine with AI if it's not AI-slop levels. Like, the games where you can IMMEDIATELY tell all the art was just ran through an AI prompt and pooped out. If creators are that lazy with their prompts and don't take the time/effort to make their art look DISTINCT, then I'm not going to take the time/effort to play their shitty slop game.

If I get even a wiff of that "AI-slop" vibe from looking at the game's banner image, I won't even click the thread to check out reviews/screenshots. I got so many other games I could try and limited time to try them lol

I would much rather recognizable AI art than AI writing. AI writing is an instant deal breaker for me, while the "art" I can tolerate if the writing is good enough.

I find it easy to skip games with AI images (and especially AI writing) but the much harder choice comes up when an established (good) game switches their art to AI (or a decent artist starts using AI alongside their own work). I can't think of specific examples right now, but I feel like I've seen a couple of games get accused of changing over to AI assets... it sucks to see, but the need to keep up with Patreon expectations, etc. makes you see why someone might do it.

depends on the work put on it after all AI is just a tool, if it used well it can speed a lot of time or help a non programer or artist make his idea.
