The question about immersion in a porn game is a great one in and of itself But I absolutely don't care if I'm playing as a man or a woman. The main thing is an interesting plot and well written characters. Everything else - particulars, not worthy of attention.

Nope. I've played as female to, but I have to roll my eyes sometimes when she can't get straight to the sex scenes. I mean, come on, what guy is going to refuse an attractive woman in skimpy clothing? The only way around that is to make a female character so clueless that it is often game breaking.

I've played some female mc games but it's way harder to get into.

The worst ones are the japanese games where it's a female protag and you have to lose to see h-scenes. That's just so...counter to the whole point, especially when the games actually have good gameplay lol.

I played another one whose name I forgot but it was a dark-souls-like, actually legitimately good game. But I played it earnestly and never died and never saw any h-scenes because of it.

At one end of the scale, some players want the MC to be customizable and absolutely require the ability to set the MC's name to their own. I am near the other end of the scale: I don't really care.

Pretty much since I can relate to the character. Though, don't mind playing as FMC every once in awhile, if the game is interesting.

On rare occasions, I prefer games where you can play both MC and FMC so I can control their actions that intertwine with each other.

I play both, although for a long time I only played male MC. I find the downfall and corruption of a female character is best described through her PoV, which is a common theme in all games I play.

I usually only try to play as mMcs. But if the story is good sure I'll play as fMcs too. Depends on the story too I guess.
