Multiple-protag is a no go, ever. It's too hard to get done right, most of the time I end up wishing there was only one protag. Male/Futa MC are both equally fun, Futa sometimes even more. Female MC can be fun sometimes too.

We've had like 3 decent futa MC games the past couple of years, and only really 1 of them that has made good progress (though I haven't looked at much of what's available on here, just F95).

Nope. I try to play both. Except lot of the time, it's so hard to find a quality female protagonist game. As majority of the time, it narrows down to a slut simulator or a rape simulator. It gets boring quick unless the game has a very unique way of handling it.
For example Claire's Quest is both. Except art is appealing, story is pretty good and range of scenes/fetishes is utterly wild.

I mean I have played male MC games before but they just aren't as enjoyable. You don't have to self insert as Lara Croft to enjoy a Tomb Raider game for example
