It depends on the game mechanics; if it's tedious and monotonous, then no. But if it's interesting and engaging, and it also ties in well with the story, I have nothing against it.

If the difficulty unlocks great content then yeah I don't mind. Just ferret state and keep trying.

I don't like high skill difficulty games but really enjoy playing/replaying to get all of the branching paths seen in vns. I want to see everything and sometimes you have to grind through it.

Kind of don’t mind if it’s well done. Alice in Cradle comes to mind > game is actually really fun to play and has good h content

No I dont want difficulty in these types of games! that kind of gameplay is secondary to the main point of the game, to me

I think they should have some amount of gameplay and challenge if it warrants standing out

If a game wasn't even fun in the first place, making it difficult makes it 10x worse.

If someone made a porn action game that has the same quality as something like elden ring with the scenes being rewards for tough fights then maybe. But I don't think that's something anyone will see anytime soon.

I once played a puzzle game that was I think completely AI, and only showed ONE picture every 5-10 levels, plus it was harder each time. Fuh nah. Really boring and completely made me bored.

I'm curious does anyone here have an example for a difficult porn game they liked? I am not against the idea but I've never seen a game that would fit this, they're mostly just VNs or grinds.
