Do you genuinely like mini games/combat in games?

Do people genuinely enjoy when a game has mini games or combat in them? I think sometimes it can ruin immersion and be unnecessary, though obviously there are people that enjoy them since it's apart of so many games.
While I personally find the combat and mini-games in AVNs frustrating, I understand that some people enjoy them. I would propose implementing a skip option for these elements. This way, people who prefer to focus on the story can do so without hindrance, while those who engage in the combat and mini-games can still earn appealing bonuses. This approach would cater to diverse player preferences and create a more enjoyable experience for all.

Some logic based mini games where you have to put pieces together are ok. But when it does not fit into the context of the main plot, i find it quite disturbing.

In AVNs I'm not a fan of mini games or combat especially if game saves don't carry over from update to update.

Mini games are just pointless time wasters imo. Combat though depends on how it's done. If it's turn based and actually has some thought put into it I can enjoy it and feel it adds something. Quick time events fucking suck though

If there is no option to skip a minigame in a game or VN, I send those games to the trash. Mini-games break the main plot, most of the time being reduced to pointless mouse clicking.
The combat is more characteristic of RPGM games, which I just never download.

Not a fan of mini-games because they're often tacked on, meaningless time wasters. I don't play these games for the combat, but I do acknowledge that some combat systems are pretty good when they're well implemented and don't feel like a secondary aspect of the game. I have enjoyed action h-games in the style of a metroidvania as well as VNs in the style of a jrpg.

Yes and no. Depending on how the game is implemented. Other than that being able to skip it is always appreciated.

Sometimes they are a chore, sometimes a nice addition that makes the experience richer, it's case by case.
same although i will say a few i've played are down right impossible to beat

Nope, most of the times they are terrible and just a waste of dev and our time

Never met a minigame that was hard to beat for me , but I am pro God level gamer so yeah...

I'm decent enough at them that i can do most casually but some take a lot of concentration from me cus ADHD and when that happens in the middle of a porn game it can lead to a lot of frustration which makes my gaming skills a lot worse

Yes, I want my game to have game aspects, I don't want to just read a novel. Minigames are fine but the ideal is an actual proper game with adult aspects. Not just a crappy novel to string together a bunch of scenes.

If it was real, sure, no problem with it. In Ren'Py it's just annoying most of the time. Few games have a compelling mini-game system. Emi was horrible. I wanted to throw the computer out the window.

It depends on the game, and it depends on the minigame or combat.
I like games such as the original Wizardry - Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord (from 1981!). Games based on pretty much the exact same concept are still being made, especially in Japan. You walk through a maze, and when you encounter a group of monsters there is combat following certain rules. It's maybe not the most interesting gameplay, but it is meditative.
Now Wizardry is of course not a porn game. Porn games follow different rules. You could take Wizardry, make the monsters sexy and create fucking animations for the battles. (I would be surprised if nobody has done this yet.) But this does not turn Wizardry into a good porn game. It will always remain a regular dungeon crawler with porn graphics or at most with a porn plot grafted on. It would perhaps make Wizardry slightly better, but not change it fundamentally.
Now if you do it the other way round and add combat or minigames to a genuine porn game, then that is unlikely to work. It's remarkably hard to get combat systems to both work well and be satisfactory to play. These mechanisms are unlikely to get the required attention in a porn game. And in this case the grind isn't what the players come for, so it will become a disadvantage rather than the main object.
Another factor is the fact that a lot of porn games are made with RPG Maker. In this case the tool makes users add combat because there is an expectation that RPGs have combat. RPG Maker has a lot of support for that. It's actually harder to avoid all the typical RPG features in an RPG maker game than to use them.

I don't think most of them like it, since they quickly seek to know the story and sexual scene, for my part I hate that way you mention. If it's easy, play if it's difficult to delete

Mini games rarely add anything for me, but combat is fun when it is a vital part of the game. Like in RPGs or Battlefuck games.
