My only solution is not to play it again because I didn't like it.
I avoid that difficulty

No way I like to play main characters who are bold, and way more Alpha than me. And in game you can do things that would get you killed or arrested in real life. Its a fantasy and a roleplay. I like sci fi and fantasy and none of that is real.

It depends. I don't care so much if I'm playing a guy or a girl, but if the main characters are outright unlikable, it's distracting. If there's a character that's an obnoxious, abusive asshole, the only time that's a turn on for me is if it's a girl, she gets pinned, and she gets the bitch fucked out of her. Otherwise, they need to be put in their place.

It depends. I play TTRPG since I was a child, so I don't really see myself AS the character in the game, at least no 100% self insert as me, because I don't have total control over what that character is going to be. So I see the character in the game more as if I was creating a character to play an RPG, in which the DM has a bit more control over him.

I do, however, look to only play characters that at least I wouldn't mind too much interpreting in an RPG. Like, I usually prefer to make nice characters, but I don't mind being a bit evil, or a bit of a dick, or even a bit more passive, in some characters I make. As long as the character is not a boring doormat. That is at least when it comes to personality.

When it comes to fetishes I'm a bit more conservative. One example of that is NTR. I don't mind fapping to it in a hentai, or a porn, because that story is not directed at me, but it is not something I want to experience in first person, because I don't really have that fetish in real life.

That is why I prefer games where you have some more levels of control over the character, like in the Blackheart Games, where you can choose to be a dick to the girls, or be more loving, or in Fetish Locator, where you can filter out the fetishes you are not into. But when I can't have control over the personality of the character it doesn't bother me nearly as much as not having control over the fetishes, if the game has an unavoidable fetish I'm not into, I check out.

I've stopped self-inserting in games a long time ago, so the protagonist could be a literal rock and I'd still play it if the game was any good.

So many of these games seem to mirror my own life, I have a huge dick and all the women I meet want to impale themselves on it. But even when that's not the MC, I can still enjoy the game.

Yeah, can't play the total asshole ones.

I voted Other, cause there wasn't an option for sometimes.
Most games I can get into it with a decent story.
If the MC is Female, not my skin color, or is insanely Buff/Good looking, can't do it.
Max of BB was easy, except for the Huge Dick. Mine looks like a button on a fur coat.

quite the contrary, i like it to play characters, that don't are in line with me.

No not really, I feel like the point of these types of games is to be able to play or/ be in situations that you would never really find yourself being in so imo playing an MC that is sometimes completely diff from myself is nice.

Nope, while MC is not some shizo that do not make sense im fine. But alse i do not like spineless potato so i mostly drop games like that

very much so, but it depends on the story. i'd never do anything like what the mc in friends in need did in his "dark" path or whatever, for example. overly evil and r*pey mc's kinda make me sick tbh. nor can i really get into the headspace of a fmc. that said, the specifics about mcs are kinda ambiguous mostly and usually don't "align" with me as a whole, but i have no problems with em.
🤷‍♂️

Yup, I'm clearly fucking terrible at role playing characters in games Adult or otherwise.

I'm gonna play through this RPG and be a deviant/criminal/merc/slaver scumbag this time
Get to the first morally difficult choice and I'm immediately back to
"aww no I don't wan't to do that. It might make the NPC sad"

My god I'm soft.

I have stopped playing a couple times just because the MC was abusive. That hits too close, I need to avoid it.

yes if the MC is too much, (too beta, too Andrew tate wannabe or just too badly written in general) then it becomes more annoying, also if the dev insists on the mc finding someone or something really hot when i dont annoys me (like a ugly character or girl on girl) just give me a choice if its hot or not

There is only one deal-breaker for me. Wimp pushover Mc, that gets into my nerves quick, if there is no growing out of that it's a quick drop in my books.

I generally look for games that align with my desires, even though I wouldn't actually put them into practice.
