Depends on the LI's tbh, if anyone catches my eye I'll pursue them. Don't really stick to one path, because I try to do a completionist playthrough in one go.

either loyal to my harem (and try to get as many as possible in it)
or roaming through the poly-group (and try to get as many as possible in it)
or (if both is not intended by the game) it depends on the story. If I can fuck multiple LIs without getting in trouble ... why not ?

My opinion. when playing a game, the more action the better. So get it anyway you can, harem, single, sharing, corrupting, coersion, etc.
