discussion Do you change the MC's name and to what?

Generally stick to default if the MC has some actual character and isn't a full self-insert. If its more of a blank slate character, I use "Hi" lol. It's really stupid, but ages ago some game didn't have a default option and I couldn't think of anything and usually find using my own name weird. So I just used Hi and have stuck with it ever since.

i use my nickname but spelt weirdly for example if it was 'steven' id call myself steaf or some shit.
so first name: steaf last name: venn
i never really change other characters names but i do change the age if it lets me.

If the game offers a default I usually stick with it, unless it's something really weird.
If I had to put a name, I use something short - 3-5 letters, like Mike or Alan. Also, for a while some of the keys on my keyboard weren't working, so I had to choose a name from the keys that were availbale. LOL
