Do you change the MC's name and to what?

Just curious - what do you, guys, name your MC in the games where name change is possible? Do you keep it default or do you change it?
I always change his name to Dylan, named after Captain Dylan Hunt of "The Andromeda Ascendant" cuz that TV show is one of the very few old time masterpieces.

Yes, I change all the possible names, for the mc I usually change it to my name and, if possible, I change other characters names too for names of women I know or have met in real life.

There are games that I like to have greater immersion than others.

If it already has a default name, I usually leave it and except in games where I can make my own decisions, I prefer not to put my name projected in the mc, imagine that a guy with my name kills a cat and it's not my decision... poor cat

I usually keep the default name. The MC or other characters often tend to do something I wouldn't do or want to do, so I don't like change it. And once, while playing a game, I randomly decided to change the name to Sam and then another character showed up named Sam... after that, I had to listen to badly worded dialogue about how Sam's wife was cheating on Sam with Sam. "Sam, your not the man that Sam is." "Sam, you're better than Sam." It was so jarring I didn't enjoy the scenes at all.

If the MC has a default name I usually leave it default (unless the name is atrocious). If MC defaultname = notrue, then I use Emcy (mc). Its a name that no other NPC would ever have inside any game. I hate it to find that the name I choose is the same as an NPC and cant tell who is currently talking.

I change the name to my name and I refuse to play a game that uses a forced name that is something that makes me think of my family or friends as that's fucking turn off.
I don't want to think of someone else when playing a porn game and this is a problem unique only to porn games.

No, I've never had any trouble gameplaying because of it. I don't take games that seriously.
