Do you change the MC's name and to what?

Generally stick to default if the MC has some actual character and isn't a full self-insert. If its more of a blank slate character, I use "Hi" lol. It's really stupid, but ages ago some game didn't have a default option and I couldn't think of anything and usually find using my own name weird. So I just used Hi and have stuck with it ever since.

i use my nickname but spelt weirdly for example if it was 'steven' id call myself steaf or some shit.
so first name: steaf last name: venn
i never really change other characters names but i do change the age if it lets me.

If the game offers a default I usually stick with it, unless it's something really weird.
If I had to put a name, I use something short - 3-5 letters, like Mike or Alan. Also, for a while some of the keys on my keyboard weren't working, so I had to choose a name from the keys that were availbale. LOL

It depends: for "those" games, I always use a shortened version of my name, whereas for RPGs and other titles, I usually pick one of the nicknames I’ve come up with over the years, sometimes tweaking it slightly depending on the specific game and the character I’m playing. Sometimes you can rename other characters, too, but I always leave those as the default.

Not always, it depends on the game but I would say fifty-fifty.

No, I usually stick with the default name, when it's blank I use Anon, and if it asks for a surname that cannot be blank I use Nymous.

Just curious - what do you, guys, name your MC in the games where name change is possible? Do you keep it default or do you change it?
I always change his name to Dylan, named after Captain Dylan Hunt of "The Andromeda Ascendant" cuz that TV show is one of the very few old time masterpieces. :)
