discussion Do Animations improve a game?

For me animations are a must, kinda sucks to be browsing old games that seem interesting and then realizing that they are static, huge bummer

I prefer to have animations, but it takes a lot of time a work to get them right. I've seen it done wrong a few times.

I think it does. It's not a must for me though, especially when they're low quality

Bad animations hurt the game, but good animations with good stills mixed in I think is the best way.
