Animação desde que bem feita melhora a experiência no jogo mas não é o principal motivo, mas se for mal feita piora e era melhor não ter. Jogo só de texto mas as imagem e vídeos me ajuda a me ligar mais rápido com a historia.

Animation since well done improves the experience in the game but is not the main reason, but if it is poorly done it gets worse and it was better not to have. I only play text but the images and videos help me to connect faster with the story.

Oh, I'm sorry I forgot the translation; I'll be more careful—my mistake.

or you can just send me cash & that will fix the problem, no you can't have my address

i would say animation as long as its not abysmal does improve the experience, though there was this one game a friend showed me that had these VERY cheep L2D animation that i say where far worse than a static image with some motion lines so i would say not a guaranteed improvement

Absolutely. Good animations make the game feel alive… but if the story is trash, even the best animations can’t save this kingdom

oof there was only one or two case for me where the animation was so atrocious that it would have been way hotter if the art just stayed still. Usually even a little bit of motion can improve a still image in context to hentai games. The little jiggle animations even if it does not animate the art itself can be quite endearing.

A subpar animation is a fast way to soil a decent game for me, only few i've seen actually have decent animated scenes.

Adult games generally lack the capability to produce high-quality animations; the costs are too high, so for most games, it’s better not to include animations at all.

Definitely
Makes it 2x or 3x times better
Sometimes i'd even close my eyes on some boring plot stuff or mechanics if a game has some decent animations

I think the needed quality of the animations scales with the artstyle. some simple two or three frame animations in a pixel art game go far, while the same level in a vn is much more lackluster

I think as long as the animation matches the style it can add to the game. Even if it is a few images cycling that can work well for a game versus a fluent video where the render has a bunch of noise or a drastic change in cg appearance. Also maintaining perspective. If the game is primarily first person but all the animations have the camera doing a roller coaster around the room it makes things jarring and distracting.

Not a necessity for me to enjoy a game, but it's appreciated and sometimes the only missing to make a game great instead of just good.
