so do you like to play demos or do you skip it and wait for the game to come out?
I usually skip the demos unless something in the game description catches my eye

Are you specifically talking about studio games now? If I didn't play early access, demos or in-development titles of the kind he have here on LC I'd be playing one game a year.

I don't play them, just bookmark them if they interest me. If I'm gonna play a game there should be at least a few hours of gameplay, finished or not.

I consider every game in development a demo.
However, i delete every game that paywalls content and i'm also not interested in any previews/tech demos since i play for the story, not for art or mechanics, so every demo-quicky would only decrase my interest in the endproduct.

I very rarely try demos of naughty games, I don't like getting blue-balled by a game I really liked

We talking like games in general or Adult games? I mean like Demos I'll play if they're limited time or so. But if they're just a demo or "prologue" for their upcoming game. I'll probably wait out until release.

But I guess also depends if it's a game I'm super excited for. But then again, if it's a game I know I wanna get, then I'll probably not play the demo/prologue

I've been ignoring demos for several years now. Waste of time, as experience shows.

I systematically avoid demos - not enough content...

adult games? not really, bookmark if it looks interesting, come back when it has actual content
actual games? only if it looks like something i would buy anyways and has progression carry over

Adult games, obviously yes.
Small studio games, mebbeh.
Large studio games, definitely no. I won't even play day one release.

I do not enjoy demos. If the gameplay is fun, there isn't enough of it and the developers may change direction anyway. If the gameplay isn't fun then it wasn't worth it to begin with. If I'm unsure about a game I'll try to catch a stream of it.
