A new cleanup update has been posted covering the recent Vault rework, rank changes, policy cleanup, and theme polish.
The goal is to make LC cleaner, easier to understand, and safer for the site going forward.

April's story arc is that the MC meets her and gets her a cake, she makes a wish (to get adopted) and then later she gets adopted and thanks the MC.
(As in her mind if the MC didn't get her a cake, then she couldn't make a wish and would never have been adopted)

Magic is as believable as the story so far. Do you really think anyone plays your game for the realism?
I think a majority of players would rather take a goofy explanation to have a cute character back than nothing at all.

I mean, technically, this type of lewd content could be made available (through backchannels) as a add-on patch, since the lewd parts with characters such as her isn't essential to the story. But that's entirely up to you.

Seems some are not aware of this option, but you can enable Custom Age's from the character menu if you wish to manually edit the age's of Megan/Jasmin/Holly/April.
MC/Katie/Amber/Emily will still be tied to Lauren's age, this is for story reasons.

Would appreciate this in a different filehost, like Mega or somewhere else. Mediafire stops at 100% completion and stays there (tried 4 times), the other hosts here download at dialup speeds 3-4 days. Can any mod kindly re-upload?
I just don't get it. LC is just a web site. It's not like it's hosting the files that requires a shitload of bandwidth. How the hell can it cost $300 per month? That's insane. Unless... They rent a VPS, or use a cloud based solution from Xenforo, which is just plain stupid. I know the "other" site use it as well.
Why not get a license and self-host it somewhere else where the upkeep isn't this bad? Invision, vBulletin or even phpBB. Don't choose cloud based solutions. I've developed sites for over 20 years. The "features" that they provide are easily acquired elsewhere without additional costs.

This is something that's included in every self hosted CMS.

I can assume its people from XenForo that helps with the site? Not sure if they would even want to help a site like LC.

You can sign up for a free Cloudflare account to get that.

Not sure how this is useful.
Backups:
All hosters have this. Most CMSs also have its own backup solution.
DDoS protection:
You get this from Cloudflare.
SSL Security:
This is also mostly free with every hoster. Considering Google pretty much requires your connection to be secure. Else you get warnings like shit so no one would even dare to visit you.

Conclusion:
The starter choice @ $60/month is way to expensive. I've had accounts with the same functionality at $23/month. Don't ever go for a cloud based solution. It will cost you a shitload of money for no reason.
Don't take this the wrong way guys. I love LC, and i don't want to see it go. But you really need to re-think your business plan.

No kidding. LC isn't "just a website" - you'd need a hosting space with a lenient ToS, given the contents hosted on it. At best, I'd assume a VPS provider could do the trick, if the ToS is OK with the site contents.

I avoided this game initially because I heard that it got nerfed.
However, I just binged the old version and then binged the whole thing again with the character with scenes removed.
Honestly, the changes are no big deal at all. I would have even went further and removed the character entirely, since she could have easily been stripped without allowing the user to wonder if scenes are available for that character. But the author is right, the character was absolutely shoehorned in, which is why I would have just removed her entirely.

The thing about april is that once things have progressed enough with the other girls Ric0h could easily do a time skip and then have content with her. It would only need to be a couple of years since she doesn't look that much younger than lauren. But if he never does something like that, I wouldn't really care too much. It's just one character.
