Sorry everyone, I guess I got a little pissed!

Don't say sorry. That was a much needed rant. I feel the same way about so many people in these threads.
But if I would make a rant I wouldn't keep it as civil as you did. xD
It is so annoying that people can't read any messages,sometimes one message above theirs, or use the search function.

Back to the topic:
While I really hope that we get a new ingame day soon I am totally fine with Ricoh cleaning up code or re-rendering images so he can continue working on the game as he want it to be.

First thing I see after getting into Games+ is this update, that was nice. I am not clear how much is new from when I first got the game here before the new system was put in place though.

While I really hope that we get a new ingame day soon I am totally fine with Ricoh cleaning up code or re-rendering images so he can continue working on the game as he want it to be.

A new game day will be so nice. It's always top notch stuff and though my impatient self is chafing at the wait, it's generally worth it.
Even code cleanups are nice and they're usually for good reasons.

The cleaned-up graphics are really nice, too, so I guess I just have to pretend to be level-headed and wait for the next content update.
GO RIC0H! YAY! RAH RAH RAH! And other hype-things, too!

Because every girl except April is still in the game as they originally looked, and Lauren, Megan, and Holly all still qualify for the tag? Beyond that, as long as 0.7.x remain available in the OP, the tag would still qualify even if RIC0H changed every girl to a grandma in 0.9.

I, too, just got Games+ and the second game on the update list is Corrupted Love. I do love me some Corrupted Love! I can't wait for the full update, but I'll be happy just replying this now to see the re-rendered scenes.

It's doing okay honestly. Hopefully from now on Ricoh works more on the project and releases actual content but it could have been abandoned, so that's a silver lining.

I wouldn't say no new content. The "new" content is the rerendering of the first few days. And, damn, if it's not a serious improvement! I like it.

I'd love new content, too, which I hope is coming, but so am I....

There was actually no new content with latest update. It was just a bugfix and his new LI mod.

Indeed, the problem was the time it took for LC to update to the bugfix version (that people thought it was an actual update)

0.8.5 came out, then a day or two later 0.8.6 came out (and was posted instantly on the other site as it was a major bugfix due to the persistent issue)
However, it took LC about 2 weeks to update it.

Depends on the last build you played.

If the last build you played was 0.8.2 (or before), then 0.8.5+ has new content (on days 1-3)
If the last build you played was 0.8.5, then there's no new content in 0.8.6, as it's just a bugfix update.

With my builds, the 2nd number represents the day the game is currently on.
(ie)
0.8.6 = Game is on day 8

Next update will be 0.9, which would mean the game will be set on day 9.

0.8.x = X is just a bug fix for the day marked in the 2nd number (usually, but this time it was for a rework of earlier days, so slightly more than a bugfix).

Note that if you played 0.8.5, then I would suggest playing 0.8.6, just to "fix" your saves from 0.8.5 due to the persistent value change.

Oooooh, good idea!
I think a cerebrally traumatized macaque has a better handle on Ren'Py coding than me, so if that's your advice, I reckon I'd better take it.

And I've had worse recommendations than replaying your game, so I guess it all works out ;-)

Ric0h - Thanks for taking a look on this site as well. I appreciate the explanation. Luckily, the last version I played was 8.2, so 8.6 revealed new content to me. Sorry for posting a misunderstanding earlier, and thanks to the community for quickly correcting my post.
