Completed or Ongoing?

Playing ongoing games is a risk - you get invested and then the dev abandons it or just fades away. But I still do it. But like most people i prefer a finished game.

Complete>On Going>Abandoned

I don't play many AVN's at the same time and there are many completed games that I haven't played yet. No on-going games for me for some time.

I don't mind as long as the game entertains me.
It's nice playing ongoing games because you can give feedbacks to the dev and interact a lot more with the community.
But also, with ongoing games there's always this fear of it getting abandoned...

By the time a porn game gets completed, it's usually already in my ignore list, lol.

I also play only completed games, for a few reasons:
1. I don't see a point playing a game knowing there is more content to come;
2. A lot of devs are lazy and they are doing very small updates over a long period of time;
3. When the game gets completed I may be discouraged by the fact that I need to play again part of the game I already played;
4. If I like ongoing game and it suddenly gets abandoned I am pissed.

It's the same with TV shows - if I know more seasons are to come I don't watch it. That way I barely watch any TV shows because almost every single one gets cancelled because it became so bad or is forced endlessly into new seasons because money.

I usually play mostly completed games, sometimes I play ongoing ones tho to see if I might be interested.

I mostly play ongoing games since most are not completed but only if the updates are big.

I always say I'm going to wait for the game to be completed but, I never do.

Id prefer to only play completed games but sadly most of these type of games dont reach a completed state

I like playing ongoing games, because, when it's good, it's exciting where it goes and will go.

I'm following the development of several projects, some of them are almost completed (Bright Past), others are in some stage of development. Some of the projects I've been following from the beginning of development to full completion (Melody, Mystwood Manor, Ataegina, The Taming of the Brat, and a few others). It's quite interesting to follow the evolution of a developer's creative vision. Some games disappointed me and I stopped following them (Ring of Lust, Reunion, Grandma's House) and will never go back to them.
Of course, it's nice to get a finished product “out of the box”, but it's no less interesting and pleasant to follow the creative process.

I tend to only play games when the have 3-4 updates, then I'll play them every 3 or so updates (unless the updates are huge). I sometimes have trouble getting into Completed AVN's, sometimes it's hard to know what order you are meant to see things, sometimes you sequence break Li progression.

Having a full game is nice, but there is one thing to get from ongoing that you don't from full is input in to the game(if the dev is open to it)

would prefer completed games but those are so far and few between. so i mostly play ongoing

I found that i dont care the state of the game, only that the game is entertaining. Of course is a shame to find that the game I like got abandoned, but that doesnt deters me from playing

both, because waiting for completed games is eternity for some games ..

I prefer to play completed games but most adult games are incomplete or abandoned, so I have no choice but to play ongoing games.

If the game is new I usually let it sit for a couple of updates so it actually feels like a game rather than a demo. Other than that just play what's available and suits your kinks. A number of games are intentionally designed to never be complete so there's no point in worrying about it.

Good completed games are the holy grail. I play alot of in progress games, though.
