discussion Completed or Ongoing games?

I'd always rather a game be completed, but I like playing in-progress games as well, because it gives me a reason to replay on each new version.

Replying a good update of a game you've been expecting to drop is awesome, when intertwined or Summer scent update i play every path again

I don't mind starting unclompeted games since most erotic VN's won't be finished anyway.

But I wait for a certain amount of updates so that there is decent content for my first playthrough.

Really both in the same way...
Although I like to know the end of games, I also tend to play almost non-stop until the end and with ongoing games, I have to wait for updates which allows me to enjoy the games better (provided that the updates are sufficiently present).

I certainly prefer completed games, but there just aren't that many of them. I not a big fan of having to replay once a new chapter comes out.

As long as a game is not abandoned, I don't really mind if it is on-going or completed as long as it is good.

I prefer completed games. But if the idea/genre/characters really attracts me, I'll take a look and keep track of them.

if the game is in the process of being created and is playable, it may be ongoing and you are waiting for the next patches like in a series, but if subsequent episodes are getting weaker and weaker, the game is out of circulation

I always think it's a shame that it was abandoned, there were really good VNs there.

Completed are like a movie.
Ongoing like a tv serial.
The most important is they need to be good to play.
And we have so many abandoned with a good potential...sad.

there are not enough completed games that i like to only play those games. but otherwise, of course only completed
