Added Quests and a Quest Log to the game!
Updated intro flow to utilize the quest system and smooth over home upgrades

General Updates
  • It is highly recommended you start a new game, as the new system updates in 0.1.1 will almost definitely break existing saves
  • Combat has received a complete overhaul!
    • You'll now bring a full party of up to 3 characters into battle
    • Enemies also come in packs now, making combat encounters more dangerous
    • Characters all have a (mostly) unique ability to use in combat
  • Single combat encounters have been replaces with Dungeons
    • Entering a dungeon has a stamina cost equal to 2 times the number of floors in the dungeon
    • Dungeons have multiple floors with various encounters
    • A dungeon must be completed or safely exited to keep all acquired loot and gold
    • Some dungeons have treasure chests!
  • There are currently 3 dungeons in the game:
    • Light Woods - Can be found in the forest, providing a fairly easy early game experience
    • Banding Camp - Can be found on the way to the village, featuring slightly tougher enemies
    • Forest Keep - Unlocked after clearing the Light Woods. A full party is recommended for the first "real" dungeon in the game!
  • Added an NPC dialogue system to the game
    • NPCs in the area you're in are now reflected in game, adding much needed immersion
    • NPCs can be interacted with for simple dialogue
    • Currently, this is only set up for Reena in your home
  • Iron Ore is now obtainable in the Forest Keep
  • Completing the Forest Keep also adds Iron Ore to the general store for purchase
  • Stamina costs have been removed from most travel for the time being
  • Samuel will now visit on Sundays to collect taxes
  • New backgrounds have been added for several scenes
  • Character creation has been adjusted, now allowing for portrait selection

  • [Forest Keep Boss] is missing images in the brothel

Game doesnt look bad, just needs a bit of tweaking for progression (I cant figure out where to get iron)
Also would be cool if there were sounds and videos (for the live action pack)
 
want more option for character creation
story nice, starting choices matter for equipement and the specs of the MC, and for the starting lore (at least for the start, after a while I don't know if the starting choice will still matter)
html text base game (do like those)
some effort has been made on the ui, the ui is clean, in combat need to know wich enemy is first to act, right now no means to do that (turn order doesn't help to know wich of the 2 wolfs is hiting 1st), not a 100 webs pages seeing 1 at a time, the inventory and all side windows are a popup screen that keep the main page live
no passing time only stamina managment, day end when you have no more stamina and you need to sleep to be able to act again
a lot of place holders and missing graphics
need to add numeric shortcut for the selection of choice to made
number discrepentie between quest goal and written story (i have to pay "twenty" or "50 gold" ?)
visual change of your shack with each upgrade? nice, need to see how many upgrades that work and if the visual change actually feels in the right order (upgrading floor mat to makeshift bed make the visual of the bed disapear/worse looking?)
up right notification popup need to stay longer / stay for the full duration of the page maybe
graphics better fitting the story with "default" AI pictures mode
some resources are very rare and grindy/random to get
 
intresting way of using ai. I will keep my eye on this one.
 
Absolutely unplayable due to softlock.
Although, in principle, this no longer plays a big role, since, apparently, this project has been abandoned.
