I'm a completionist?

One would think that if there's a P3, by the time I have enough to claim it, there might be perks. Gonna watch and see.

And, as a completionist, I'm still a little bummed that my M+ icon at the bottom of the Postbit disappeared during the "oops" a week or two ago. Yeah, I still have the rank and the Waifu eyes, but it's like having my trail-rated Jeep, and the little badge gets knocked off somewhere. My Jeep is still the same as it was, and I could buy a new badge - they don't cost that much - but it stings to have lost it for no good reason and you can't get it back without spending for it, or unless it can magically be restored by the PTBs without cost. I posted a ticket after I realized it, but I don't think anything will come of it since all I lost was a decoration and not a function.¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Big flurry over a couple of days, then nothing. Dropped in early today to deposit a few coins, forego a day of interest, and get a reset to a better collection time - lost track and now it's after midnight local time for me. Trying to pull it back about 5 hours, but also want to have at least 100 LC to deposit before I do.

There is no need in P3 as it does nothing and P4 is just for show, there is not really something in there you won't already find in M+ or P1.

I can assure you that you'll always get more coins from engaging in good conversation than you will from the bank.

And unless you're a weirdo (like me) who likes earning all of the internet points you can, P1 gets you all of the conveniences of forum functionality (removal and reduction of cooldowns).

It's also important to note, that P3 and P4 only purporse was for coin hunters to have something to spend it on.

Two reasons: Firstly the pessimism induced by previous LC moderating decisions. But also if you have a system that gives people 100000 LC Coins per day, the 750 coin barrier for Members+ becomes irrelevant. We will get one kind hearted person gifting everyone posting on the forum Members+, which wil force LC's hand.

Yeah. First I get lured out of my comfortable lurker shell to gather coins for mem+ access. Now I have that but still don't stop chatting even though the coins have fulfilled their purpose. Greed, virtual, but still greed

But also if you have a system that gives people 100000 LC Coins per day, the 750 coin barrier for Members+ becomes irrelevant. We will get one kind hearted person gifting everyone posting on the forum Members+, which wil force LC's hand.

More than removing the Bank won't they just rise the price so that no one is gonna gift it to everyone? It's not happening now and I don't think that it will happen in the future.

The prices for the ranks haven't changed since April 22 and are the final ones (appart from the random weekly discount days).

Coins are generated out of thin air by likes and insane interest rates (not that I complain). So what to do with this flood of coins? One alternative would be adding more and more prestige levels to buy, but as you said, what's the benefit? Another option would be increasing prices for the existing levels, which is what I kinda expect. Last but not least I could imagine regular renewals of the prestige levels. But for that they should have clear advantages other than cosmetic

I'd say a news ticker like text that runs on the top of the page and users can spend 1000-5000 coins for their names to show up in there for 24h. But without any messages, just their colorful name.
