Sad, the door is really only closing in totalitarian countries like Australia and the UK (that really have never been open for at least the past 20-30 years, they just choose to crackdown on it in 2020's instead of ignore it for political points mostly). If you know how to modify the .rpy files yourself, it's fairly easy. I can't remember if this game has the .rpy files in the folder by default; if not you might need to use Unren to unpack the archive files (.rpa) or decompile the .rpyc files into .rpy. Unless a dev uses a highly customized UI, you'll likely find something along the lines of

style window:
    xalign 0.5
    xfill True
    yalign gui.textbox_yalign
    ysize gui.textbox_height
    background "gui/phone/textbox.png", xalign=0.5, yalign=1.0

in screens.rpy. Add a # before the "background" and that'll comment that bit out. No more textbox.

If the dialogue text doesn't have outlines though, it might become hard to see. Below the "style window:" there should be "style say_dialogue:" and "style say_label:". You can add outlines [ ( 2, "#000000", 1, 2) ] to the blocks of code below those to add outlines to the dialogue text and name labels. The example I used is just what I find most visually pleasing/readable; feel free to adjust to your taste. The first number is the outline thickness, the second bit is the hex code for the color of the outline, the two numbers after that are the X-axis (left/right) and Y-axis (up/down) offsets.

I don't think that's what I meant. I can open up some text documents and there are some lines of them talking about how many days are in the year and some birthday stuff.. The MC is about to leave but decides to go back and rape the girl. That is what I'm currently missing.
