I hate the way sancho does his mods..... Yu have to copy all the files in the wt mod zip and paste them into the game folder inside the bad memories folder.

Well, man.... it is a beta, betas are for finding bugs. So, expect bugs. Also, the dev informed his beta testers about that particular bug in the beta release. Which is included in the changelog in the first post, where you downloaded the game from.

Yep that's how most mods work. Some just have more files then other's.

Sancho just uses his own mod maker that's all.

Sancho could just as easily put all the files into a "game" folder and zip it up then its a simple drag and drop but nope to lazy to do a proper job. I mean its one simple step more....

Who the fuck opens the hidden stuff before downloading? Besides, old saves not working usually comes from fucking around with variables. It would also be something that should have been fixed before even a beta was released. If it's a beta, it should be in the title, not something you have to look for...

I will definitely agree with you on one thing: for beta releases I think it should be written out fully in the filename, as such: [BETA], and also in the thread title when updating it, etc. It might help people a little, and the effort for the uploaders and mods is small, going forward that is.

But for the rest: we all know that all games that are not marked as [Completed] are by definition works in progress. Therefore, logically, one better check the changelog to see what one is downloading. It might be that the release is only a bugfix with no new content. Or that the release only focuses on that one LI that you relly have no interest in. Or as in this case, that it is a Beta release, and as we all know Betas are generally not made to be released to other than beta-testers, and in this case that was pretty clear from what the dev wrote in the eff-95 thread.

Now whether such bugs should have been fixed before Beta, well that really is between the devs and their beta-testers, isn't it?
