And pretty much every game that has futa (not trans) characters in them has them because the dev likes Japanese hentai. Futa is a hentai trope. Of course, the first visual novels were Japanese so it's a fairly natural development.

Also I'm pretty sure there are a lot more than half a dozen futa games on F95. Doesn't change the fact that the concept originated in hentai.

It is up to dev to choose content that he/she creates. If dev want to include only females - great. If you do not like games without futa you could always choose another game. Not everyoune likes futa, for instance I personally hate the idea females with dicks, so I do not need that content. If this game would have that kind of content I would choose another game and would not be complaining about this game. Everyone is different and got their own kinky fantasies.

About look of girl in render. Personally I do not like this hairstyle, I've seen it too many times in other games, but I do understand that dev could like it, so I could live with that.

At that point It should be submitted by him under a "Remake" title, and under his name. Unless proof that they have been touch with the original Dev, and has obtained permission to continue publishing under that name.
