Are you worried your job is going to be taken by AI? Do you think your job can be taken by AI?

I have no fear of losing my job. Because I am doing a job that is almost impossible for artificial intelligence to do.

I think any logical thinking brain will come to the conclusion that basically every job at some point will be taken over by AI. Question is when.

I think we gonna see some form of revolution in the next 50 years as more and more people will have nothing to do and goverments will struggle to justify capitalism in a world where ai makes up the majority workforce.

well many job that use language maybe the most affected, and job that can be automated

Nah i am working as a coach, not many people will listen motivation speech from AI, its like a common advices from doctors who almost no one listen to. Everyone know its, but if it said by not a personality or a man you know irl, its useless

Until AI can learn how to do manual labor, I have no worries at the moment.

No worries. Artificial intelligence would never do a job like mine for such little money. It is too intelligent for that.

I'm sure I'm cheaper than AI, we are a family after all

My job probably could be done in the most part by AI, but someone would still need to guide or oversee I think, attend meetings etc.
However my job is fairly niche so to train an AI would not be so profitable at least at first. I don't think I'll be the first in the great worker cull anyway.
I would think the vast majority of jobs could be done by AI though. Tbh struggle to think of any that couldn't.

grim days ahead with to many jobs lost, hope that its just hype and will be scrapped like vr because too many efficiencies

Psychiatric research and neurology.... nah. At least not for a while. People overestimate AI value in some fields - and I use AI almost daily to help with writing, art, programing, 3D work outside of my job.

Just got an Asus ProArt P16 and I use MuseTree, Stable Diffusion and a few other AI tools. Wish the CPU didn't have the NPU's and instead had more efficiency cores instead since it has a 4070 already. AI is a lot of hype right now. No doubt that it's really helpful in some cases, but not to the point where it's anywhere close to being used in my fields of work.

AI is fantastic at being really good at some things, except for those major errors and hallucinations. Any company that implements it without good human controls will end up bankrupt. I don't see those going away due to the type of AI we have now. So human jobs will not go away, but some types may be reduced. Some jobs, like low cost art creator, seem doomed, but service and manufacturing are not.

I don't really see the current AI being able to do substitute me, maybe in the future if it will ever improve

We will get more placebo jobs that's it. More people will be pushed to low class and do crappy almost completely useless jobs.

If they wanted they could erase 30% of the jobs most people do in a month or two; they don't do it because AI/robots can not replace the consumption of resources that people do after their jobs and that's what keeps the global economy machine alive.

The economy is what makes the elite special and gives them power, if they completely kill it they would need to depend on other tactics to keep the power and that arises the risk of total class war between social classes. This would threaten the status quo set by the current financial system.

TLDR: There will always be crappy jobs for people to survive and only good profitable jobs will be deleted because the ruling class is both greedy and cowards simultaneously.

I am retired now, so no chance of AI taking over. However, I worked in law enforcement, and I don't see AI taking over.
