Side stories are stories that run parallel to the main characters but may not be for everyone. So they are separate and optional. They will join the main story but the player will have the option to dismiss them when they are rescued and that character will not be 'in-game' after that. This ensures that some content some people like can be included but players that don't like certain content can just ignore it without it being in the main character storyarc. i.e. a transgender character or another male in the story.

like how you solved it. let the player decide what fetishes he wants to see by choosing those on optional prologue chapters and give us backstory to them before continuing the main story, really like the idea

I use Mega Link Downloader.
Works like a charm.

Try to resume a download, or to download something way above your available quota, and you'll start to understand why the browser download is... let's say "perfectible".

Anyway, it's a "you" problem: the initial question was "Why is Mega so beloved?". I answered, gave an advice, that's all. I don't see the point to say "I do otherwise and I'm happy", in particular if you never tried the other way to do things - I started too with the browser downloads on Mega, quickly saw the flaws and wanted to solve them since Mega was, and still is, the fastest hosting site for me - NoPy was usually very slow, and GoFile is now acceptable but was as shitty as other free hosts, so Mega.

To be clear, I'm not limited with quota and limitations despite a free account, I can resume downloads if required, and I can even limit my bandwidth if I have more important network traffic to prioritize.
You can follow my advice, or not, and I'll sleep like a charm in both cases, knowing that _I_ won't have any problem if a game is only on Mega and/or if it sizes 15 GB.
Also, _I_ won't beg for a link on any other hosting service in such a case, and _I_ won't ask for a compressed version either to suit a poor bandwidth or a midget-sized mass storage device.

It seems awfully callous of at least a "good guy" (or good-ish) MC to rescue people and then just leave them to their fate (or choose to not rescue them at all). I would rather just not have them appear in the story (or be beyond help by the time we find them) based on our kink choices made at the beginning of the game. Other than that, as long as say, Robert only fucks Shelby, I can live with that. Well, I guess he could fuck Ruby (the T-girl) too, if he wanted. But the rest of the girls are mine!

I just want some clarification if you have the time ill appreciate it.
What's the differences between the "Free Version" & The once you get via subscription? Other than I want to support your work of course is.
I see your SS is under review is it better to wait until it sorted or is Patreon fine? (To be honest idk how your game is still there thought they would had removed it because they are fuckers) lmao

While I would have no problem with any NTR-Content (especially when it is optional and known), I also dont really like the multiple protagonists. You basically get to learn April, Emily and the MC and shortly afterwards you have other protagonists, which will be side characters for the main story. I mean, some people will like it, others wont, because it takes time away from the main story.

Sorry to hear that about SubscribeStar. I've heard from other devs who want to get verified on SubscribeStar but have also waited with no info.

I'd be interested to hear more about verification delays. Like is this a problem across all genres or has SubscribeStar developed an allergy to smol games, or are they so understaffed(info about the company claims only three employees). Maybe in a separate thread?

Before any content of that is shown you get a warning to disable it for the remainder of the game. There is no NTR, Gay or Trap in game so no there's no warnings against it since it don't exist. ;-) There is 1 trans but she's in a side story, not the main.

Sure. The supporter version is just a newer version. The free version over time gets everything the paid version gets. All content 'paywalled' isn't paywalled. It's 'time-walled'. Once a new version goes out to supporters I post the full previous version here for free. ;-)

I release the free version around the same time the new version posts. I typically release new versions every 2 -4 weeks depending on IRL. So there's that. If you support that'd be great! This game is brought to you because people support it!

There won't be NTR content but the side stories add optional context to the story. You are free to NOT play them and focus on the main story. There is no side story content being developed right now. There will be in the future but most people enjoy the stories and mystique they bring. The fact that they know they are converging on the main story but not fully revealed. It's a story and a pron game. Not just a pron game but I do appreciate your opinion! Thank you!
