Yea, I'm not 100% certain, pretty sure some people found his SFW accounts and he may have been doxxed. Was gonna say even if I wasn't doxxed I'd be spooked if someone found my SFW accounts, but I have my SFW ID tied to my real name on several platforms so... Also yea kiwif@rms is a notorious harassment site. If some of the nutjobs on there have a real hateboner for you, they will find your IRL info by any means and threaten you.

Personally I just don't do anything that I would care about if others knew about it in real life. Fuck them if they don't like it. If one doesn't care and is ready to kill in self defense if necessary (long live stand your ground states) that doesn't leave too many things off the table as far as hobbies that people may or may not like. Speaking of that that is part of the problem; AVNs are hobbies, not and never were meant to be day jobs. Don't enjoy doing it whether paid for doing it or not regardless of the genre then probably should find some other hobby. And most have other than those that are still just on Patreon to rip people off as most can't even finish their vanilla crap. Really it is as it's always been, the starving artist trope didn't come from nowhere as 99.9% don't become the next Picasso and getting an art degree is still an almost guaranteed waste of time and money.

I believe in filtering artists, but I believe good artists should be paid for their work. I wouldn't pay to read a 10th grader's creative writing essay, but I would pay for a great author's work. I think most devs are the 10th grader. But anyone who is doing decent and consistent work deserves remuneration, or we'd still be in the Newgrounds phase of adult game dev. Personally just not down for the harassment you'd inevitably get if SFW and NSFW identities were connected, but besides that IDC. I'm also probably not as close to being off the grid as you are, lol. Although I wouldn't mind it if I had the resources to do it with decent QoL.
