It has been a foreign concept pretty much everywhere throughout the human history. It is rather recent invention in the West. For example, in ancient India an author of a book often didn't bother to put his name on it. They usually attributed it to some famous person (or god) in the past. The other authors could add to the story or rewrite it. In many old civilizations it was the same.

If you back read you will discover that legacyuser lost the chosen means of support and surrendered. It was a very ambitious project, but it also made tremendous progress quickly (relative to most AVN devs). He had already mapped out what was happening in each section, as opposed to most that just wing it.

I will forever mourn the abondement of this gem, this game will always be the closest to my heart and it had so much potential
Its like seeing your 10 years old child get run over by a car, anyways thank you LegacyUser for giving us this masterpiece, I only played the good routes since the game was long and wanted to wait for an update but since we wont get any I guess Ill just finish it

v0.37b was a public release. Supposedly there also was a later version out to the subscribers.
I'm surprised it hasn't been shared for over 1.5 years since the public release.

Sounds like just a rumor. I couldn't even sub at all on SS since it was one of those stuck in review limbo forever.

Thats not true. the last official public was 0.36a.
The version you can get here now IS the actual last subscriber beta version, that someone kindly shared after LegacyUser was gone for over half a year....or even longer -.-

According to my notes 2024-02-27 0.37a public on LC.

0.37b was so similar looking to 037a that I misread the version number when writing my post.

So 0.37b was out on LC Mar 29, 2025 according to the OP, more than six months ago, and 1 year and one month after 0.37a.

a= alpha, b = beta usually, so b. Though both are just bug fixes so no difference as far as content irrc. I'm still missing this one too, wish the dev would have simply made a low-effort AVN or monthly cat video front project to subsidize this one instead of ditch it.

If time permits do it for free. No money to follow = damn near impossible to dox and no platform to get banned from, so free to make whatever without limits, including a psychopath MC raping every member of Collective Shout and their preteen daughters too with deepfake videos used for animations. Though I guess links to it would have to be in DM's until AI nudes and lewds of real people are allowed in P5.
