Not sure why it says 0.6. Looking through the files (game/scripts/variables_lain.rpy if you ever need to find the code in the future), "stykosmajor" is the 0.7 code and "egwillwinti" was the 0.6 code.

This was fun so far. Just wish there was more content. Looks like it's rarely updated. I chose to do the non-trans path (to each their own) and when you talk to your mom, you still say that you are "with her" even when you chose not to be.

If you briefly play the trans path, you can clearly see where that other path was going if the dev decided to go with their original intention. I don't know if the dev is listening here, but honestly I'd just change the story to

where you still see Nea on the roof, and she doesn't jump (jumping was probably the intended path if you didn't want to be with her), but instead as a friend convince her that she's your best friend and it would be horrible without her in your life, or something along those lines. Right now it just feels weird af how they tease you with something horrible but don't show you anything anymore.

I can't really explain it well, but I hope that is changed in the next release.

I believe one of the earlier versions had Nea jumping off the roof if you didn't want to be with her. It was either love route or death.
A lot of people didn't like that though, and felt it was too much just for not wanting to bang a trans character. So it was changed slightly to allow for Nea to live, even if you don't want to jump in the sack with her.

I can't imagine the dev going back on that again. Adding to that, I think the only reason Nea even has a death scene, is because so many people hated on Nea for being a trans character. The dev might've added the scene just to spite the haters.

I think they were more butt hurt because Nea was getting more content and they thought that the DEV should be doing content that they like and not be wasting time on Nea.

Sad to see them being MIA. I truly enjoyed Parental Love (their previous title) and it was great. Oh well, time to look for another game to play in the meantime

Saddly I think this game will end up being abandoned for real. Don't know if it was a the Nea hate but it seems like the dev lost all the passion for this game. We are lucky if we get one update per year now and the updates are very small.

I was really hoping that the pool party update would get him back into regular updates again, but sadly it didn't. Now that the Nea path has been built out, I wanted to see more of the family, including the older of the two sisters who, until the pool party, had been sitting in her room, pouting for years now.

Were the updates for parental love also this inconsistent? I started playing that game right at the end of development so I am not that familiar with luxee's release schedule before he/she (still not sure if the dev is a man or a woman) started to focus on this game.

Everything is right there on their website. Luxee is a dude and if I remember correctly they're from Russia as I remember them taking breaks to drink lots of vodka.
