Not surprised by the small number of "true confessions", for a couple of reasons:

1: Social persecution, and indeed legal prosecution in many cases tends to compel consanguine couples to remain hidden.

To answer the question of past life experiences contributing to an affinity for incest VN/games: In my case, I would say yes. As a child, I expected to be together with my sibling for life. It turned out I was correct, just not in the way I had planned. I've never been attracted to any of my surviving siblings, nor either parent or any of their siblings. I had crushes on a couple of 1st cousins, but those were non-sexual (I was prepubescent). I haven't had a meaninful/satisfying romantic relationship since shortly after puberty started.
