It's like a double edged sword, while Ai can create great art it also makes artist lazy and uncreative.

AI didn't ruin porn, what ruined it is people flooding the internet with generic and boring images just because AI is easy to make beautiful images in order to farm likes/comments to the point of almost automating the entire process

If by porn you mean ero-games, I don't think so. DAZ doesn't killed hand drawing games or koikatsu ones. They are still been produced. But sure it's gonna kill a niche of digital generation. We already saw the effects here.

to make good ai porn u cant let the ai make all the work. You have to make some modifications to make it real good.
But IMO is not ruinning porn, the same thing happened when cg images or 3d render came to light. Is a tool, the art depends on the artist who uses it

In it's current form, not a great addition. But like any early tech, expect it to get better. However, the computing resources required are quite shocking, and that's going to keep it niche for now.

Without AI people created poor quality drawings. Now they can create somewhat better drawings, but without an artistic eye, they are still not good. I think the systems we have used in the past to filter out bad drawings haven't caught up with dealing with AI drawings, but once it does, it'll overall be a positive outcome.

You can run Stable Diffusion on nearly any system with a Nvidia 12G VRAM 3080
Even FLUX.1[pro] can be run on a home system, though it will need to be on the beefier side.

With AI art being in full swing and flooding every image sharing site, it feels like so much of the soul is lost in a sea of art that everyone can instantly read as AI art? That the soul and talent is just missing from the AI art and I just dismiss it outright. Very rarely have I seen AI art and ever felt any arousal from it.

There's another thread with a similar theme so I won't repeat myself here, but I'll single out one point:

I'm a misanthrope. I've seen humans and what they do with their souls, whether that's behaviour, products, relationships, etc...
Gimme a soulless machine drawn picture, product, story, anything... anything but human.
... and yes... that includes arousal from AI porn pictures, though, weirdly, the women have to be human... can't explain that one...
