discussion Anybody play any good quick singleplayer non-adult games recently?

For rogue like games,'I'd recommend Loop Hero, especially if you are fine with pixel art. I love that game. Never finished it though, it gets really hard after a while

Since Free Cell has already been mentioned: I find Bloons TD 6 incredibly addictive, but in a relatively healthy way.

I am not sure it counts as 'quick' though. Depends on what you mean by that. It's good for quick daily sessions, but also for long sessions. It's definitely not a quick game for achievement completionists. Some of the achievements are impossible to get in less than a year.

There's a pretty neat singleplayer auto-chess game called Tales & Tactics that I've been into lately.

You know, I've probably had this game suggested to me 1,000,000 times. Maybe it's time I finally get around to it

I tried playing it, I'm a completionist and just couldn't, I think I finished chapter 1 in 40 hours after running all around the map and getting killed by bandits and other things. Then again, I'm not the biggest fan of Rockstar games either so very much an unpopular opinion

i recommend cyberpunk 2077, there is so much content and its so high quality.
