Any singleplayer game is quick if you speed run it

I been playing Cyberpunk lately.

Diablo 4 just came out with a new expansion

I especially recommend VHS (violent horror story antology), its really cheap on steam. It is a fun and fast compilation of small horror games

Satisfactory owned my life for the past few weeks.

Throw in for Astro Bot for good and quick. Ender Lilies also decent

The Order 1886. Seriously, I don't know why people don't like this game. It's very good, but also very short.

I'm going to play obscure 2, the first one really good

Because it was a very good, very short game that at the time went for AAA pricing.

Shock Troopers 2

It's a run and gun arcade game from the Neo Geo MVS era. I like with Neo Geo Games you can change settings via the Arcade Bios, even use cheats to unlock characters such as Iori and Kyo (real one not a clone) for KoF 99.

As for emulation: I like using Retroarch, Lakka OS, and Batocera. I ended up finding a new favorite device for emulation after the Raspberry Pi 4B price gouging. It's a beelink mini PC for around $135, the N95.

Im playing Age of Wonders 4 for a good time already.

Reminder that the steam autumn sale is going on, many of the games mentioned are on sale for 2 more days!
Witcher 3 -75%, OG God of War -60%

Bought Hitman World of Assassination last week, super fun so far. Way too expensive normally, but you can get the first part -90% off right now

Elden Ring is very good, now I'm playing Metaphor Refantazio, I recommend it.

ghost of tushima, gow, you name it

I've recently finished Outer Wilds and wow... I have never experienced a game like that before and I don't know if I ever will again. The ending literally gave me goosebumps. It sucks I'll never be able to experience it for the first time again and even more so because there's virtually no replayability. I personally liked this game because it was small enough to not get overwhelmed by side objectives or a massive open world environment, while the story organically drove you to want to discover more.

What have you guys played recently that is quick, but still feels very full?
currently playing half life 2rn. will play portal series later

The Long Dark is the only game I need
