Yall heard of funnel runners? I suggest yall to give it a look. The dev said they want it to come out in june. I want that game to not die as quickly as other co op games.

The main gimic is tornados. I can't wait for it.

never heard of it no, looks fun with the right group of friends but so do most of these types of co op games. I find it very hard to actually find time to consistently get to play these games with people though, free time in schedules rarely match between my friends and me nowadays

Looks like quality friendslop, gonna talk with my friends about potentially playing it when it releases

Tons of friendslops, but this is the one I am waiting for

I don't like the term Friend slop, those should be used for actual slop.

I just came to say I really hate people commenting on every game just to grind activity coins, that was all, keep scrolling people
Or on every THREAD - even worse. Especially with like 2 word responses. That's spam.
It’s not really a problem when there are just a few posts—we understand that people want to earn coins, and being active is the best way to do that without paying directly—but if we see them doing it in a lot of threads and their messages are too short or too simple, we usually send them a message asking them to tone it down a bit.

I also understand them wanting to earn coins but let's be real, at least when it comes to game topics it's just a bother to everyone else, going through the "Games" display and finding the first few pages full of games that haven't been updated in God knows how long just to see a spam of comments 4 words long from accounts 30 minutes old it's not a happy time, I mean most of us (Maybe all of us) also had to earn coins to buy whatever rank, and I know most of us did it on threads and mainly talking in this thread.
It's not about not allowing them to grind but the way they're doing it.

I mean if that's allowed then that's ok but spamming comments in different areas kind of bothers the rest of us, for me it's mainly because every time someone comments in the topics I follow I get notifs, which isn't technically bad but personally I like reading what people think about the games I like and going there just to see someone say "Oh I don't like pubes" for example it's no fun (and for the record I'm not complaining about the rules on what people can or can't do)

I have been updating my adventure thread and wanted to ask if you prefer speech bubble or just image.
I think a mix works best honestly.

Pure image storytelling feels more immersive, but having some dialogue helps sell important moments or reactions without needing a huge text dump.

Would it maybe be possible to use VN/Ren’Py-style dialogue boxes whenever it fits instead of speech bubbles? I feel like it keeps the cinematic feel better and makes the whole “choose what happens next” format feel more like progressing through an actual game route.

Too much text either way can get crowded though, so using dialogue mainly for important scenes probably hits the sweet spot.

Anyone play tabletop games here
I like tabletop games, but it's so hard to get a group of people together in a room for a few hours to play. Also, it is tough to get people to learn the rules to a new game without them just getting bored or distracted.

I really cant take images with speech bubbles seriously for some reason. It just makes me read it like a Garfield comic instead. So I personally prefer images with external text, or VN like text boxes.

Its so damn hard to do that especially if it's one of the longer games

I've played a few games/campains of D&D and Pathfinder. And lots of other boardgames in general.

Yeah, I made my GF and some friends play a one-shot of Pathfinder, but I dont really know if it will be a thing again

That's impressive considering Catan is generally the most complicated game I can get people to play.
Yeah, but my friend group already plays Terraforming mars and games like that. So making the step to tabletop wasn't that hard
