That being said, do you got any recommendations for slept on classics?

Code Gease, criminally underrated. Two seasons of constant buildup and a finale.

New anime starts to feel like a soap opera at times with the constant side quests to drag the thing on and on. Usually a great first season, interest peaks, and then season two is a soft slowdown reboot to explain why the thing that nearly finished has 4 more seasons..

I just played "A house in the rift" I'm not even goon to it. the character writing are just goated and the game is so PACK. truly recommended.

Not as much as I used to, but I've been rewatching some older ones I dropped ages ago. Recently started watching Re:Zero again on a friends recommendation, it's pretty good far! And I just finished Planetes, incredibly underrated imo- it's the only hard sci-fi anime I've seen, I wish there were more like it out there (ㅅ´ - `)

Planetes is a classic! It’s been over a decade since I watched it, so I’m definitely due for a rewatch.

If you enjoy Sci-Fi, I highly recommend Cowboy Bebop, Steins;Gate, Time of Eve, and Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. They’re completely different from Planetes, but they’re some of the best the genre has to offer, in my opinion.

I haven’t jumped into Re:Zero yet, but I plan to binge it once the current season wraps up.

The thing I like is with the classics its like getting into a band that has 7 albums released, you can go and binge everything (went through tri gun in a day)

Yeah that's how I like to do it as well but it's really difficult to avoid spoilers when a show becomes way too popular (likes of JJK and CSM). So I tend to watch those shows after they finish airing.

I don't really encounter many anime spoilers, too busy autistically listening to facts about tanks. Although I do still encounter talk of some anime of 'girls un panzers'.

I've mostly been watching older stuff recently- Great Teacher Onizuka, YuYu Hakusho, etc. Idk if the Ranma 1/2 remake counts as a classic, new release or something in between, but I liked that one too lol.

I ned to finish Frieren. I dont do it cause i dont want it to end. Its so good.

I've mostly been watching older stuff recently- Great Teacher Onizuka, YuYu Hakusho, etc. Idk if the Ranma 1/2 remake counts as a classic, new release or something in between, but I liked that one too lol.

I actually like the old stuff more, stylistically. Those unique visuals, colors, the hairstyles, lots of love put into 90's stuff especially.

I've seen most of these except for Time of Eve ദ്ദി´ ˘ `)✧ the art style looks pretty unique, I'll def put it on my list!

There's still a lot of good, unique looking shows nowadays, but there is a certain charm to the older hand drawn stuff that digital can't recreate imo
