Yep, for example 3 channels tried the model of late night talkshows here after another one lost their own due to constraints they imposed on the host. 1st one made the most success and endures despiste the podcast format killing most of talkshows, 2nd one had some success but only reached a 1/4 of the first one due to constraints like religion. 3rd one was a disaster because the channel aways tries to appeal to everyone resulting in the blandest shit possible

We can see this in a recent example: the latest Fable game, which had EVERYTHING that makes Fable, well, Fable, stripped away—all in the name of “modern audiences.”

Even in our community of degenerates, there are devs who’ve made this mistake. A few years back (I don’t even remember the game’s name), there was a dev making a harem game. A small group asked him to include NTR, he tried to please them, and… it all went to hell.

If i were to add NTR to a harem game i'd just straight up go for swinging and such (or just straight up pick the boyfriend and girlfriend that way no one is excluded, tho there's way too few games where that happens). But back to theme, i'd say rather than a target audience, the work needs a concept, and to be loyal to it and it's originality

It's times like this that I'm glad that @Evil Surgeon and I are the same person, because I love those characters and that game. By far one of my favorites.
