This is all done with google nano banana 2, so I can only describe my process with that. And it has limitations for free images per day unless you get a subscription and no lewds.

I've just been adding a char's profile pic to my prompt and using a prompt query like "replace x person in image 1 with character from image 2" or something along those lines.

You can add multiple images to a prompt and reference each one by the order they get added. "Have the character in image 1 flying a kite in a field with the character from image 2".

Then continue to refine images from there with further prompts. "Replace the kite with a flying dinosaur" etc...

If you incorporate compound interest you don't have to worry as much. You can stick with bisexual, make your initial deposit, then by the time you can eat a sandwich there's interest you can play with
