Damn that must be annoying. I'm not from the USA tho so I am at most familiar with some of the dialect? used by rappers. Otherwise my English is a mix and match of UK and USA from content creators, songs, games and books.
It's less annoying and more andopportunity for humor. I once spoke with a girl from so deep in Mississippi she sounded Canadian. It was pretty funny. No offense to Canadians or their sweet sweet maple syrup.

I wouldn't say that it is "easy" to do. If you can't make up a topic on a spot and/or lack charisma, you'll find it an incredibly difficult thing to achieve

I can agree that creating interesting posts, something that encourages engagement, takes practice. Luckily there's still the option of posting borderline Insanity and hoping someone in your audience can convince themselves it's safe to reply. Unfortunately I haven't been up long Enough for the mania to set in

yes it's more of a character building exercise than an actual challenge, but it's still frustrating having to wait to meet the criteria in a world where instant gratification is the norm.
I couldnt imagine something like that happening, why do some people have such malice when they are part of the community as a whole, im glad Jack is more paranoid, the less people with access the better IMO.
I didn't even make the link with the instant gratification thing that we got used to. That's a really good point.
If nothing else it gives things like games+ inherent value because it had to be earned. Each member with the privilege had to invest a similar amount of effort into acquiring the resources needed for purchase. So the value of that content is greater based on scarcity regardless of any other factors.
I think the best thing it gives those games is protection from white knights. If everyone that wants access to the games is restricted to a few days of posting I don't really think it gives them that much value, it does give them some value but I don't think that's the main selling point.
That's how I understand it too, it might prevent this site to end up like others before it.
