Speaking of bad path, do you guys actually enjoy those super obvious 'game over' choices in games, like forcing yourself on your love interest, which almost always leads to game over. Bonus points if there is a sex scene before game over that is really well-made and actually gets you off enough to feel satisfying. It's like the game is finally throwing you a bone, after blue balling you. (Not sure what the female equivalent of 'blue balls' is, sorry, @imYuna! ! Maybe 'blue vulva' or 'blue bean'? )

Only if i can save before, i was taught some hard lessons when playing without a translator or by just skiping text (wich to be fair, if you're being blue balled skipping the text is a fair reaction and they probably put that option there because they knew what you're supposed to be thinking)

I really prefer games where getting the sex scenes isn't a game over so you can just keep playing.

Yep, defeat scenes is a terrible mechanic that highlights lack of skill or care, specially in action games were you have to redo a good chunk of the map. At least some devs let you replay the scene after winning. For VNs it's more complicated it gives weight to the choices but you need some writing quality. Games that let you guide the character experiences but doesn't allow you to unlock the other scenes can be a headache too, specially if you don't actually know how to get them or if they are tied to some RNG like battle-ecchi
