welcome! i am from atf too. take what i say with a bit of salt because i am also in same process but i say dont look at your activity score too close, it makes it worse. instead just talk like you normally would, that way you get points very quick without even noticing. even saying funny things or something someone likes will give you a point. i think main thread explaining points system is not up to date for the amount of points you get though

yeah it is sad. i fully understand/support the decision though, it came moer out of necessity than out of willingness, at least from the tone of the post. all good things come to an end unfortunately

can't take us all down! i agree. it is why i also am fan of other such decentralized things like matrix chat for messaging, it is super cool idea which im sad has not seen more widespread adoption.

as sad as it is, i agree. people enjoy getting on a moral high ground. it is okay though, with enough search and luck you always find people with similar interests

I used to use a decentralized social network, until I saw something that traumatized me… I never went back, I prefer more centralized sites. There are a lot of criminals in those places.
that is also true, it is a double edged sword. wish there was a better way, my trust in huge companies is gone sadly. you are right though these decentralized social media are also scary
Yeah, that's why I didn't want to have to find a new place, I liked how strict ATF is about things like that.
