As far as I understand John who fucked Vistarr over had almost the same role as Apollo has here Vistarr got sick and needed someone to handle things like backing up the database, and he knew John for quite a while before (John also helped with DDOS protection etc.).

Some people at ATF are pretty judgemental to Vistarr for trusting John, but honestly reliable people with technical know-how are pretty rare, especially with things like Xenforo. But there's also no way to really protect against it. Sometimes you just need help and you trust the wrong people who you've known for years.

From what I've seen it seems like Vis has the real ID of the john guy and he is from Australia. So I think he could still keep the site up. I doubt that the john guy would be crazy enough to leak the stuff he has when he knows that he would end up in the same place as westy.

He is crazy enough to blackmail Vis with that data for years now, why not crazy enough to go further? I understand why ATF admin tired to try keeping things in tact.

Nah see you have to be an asshole or do something very wrong to get banned forever.

Usually most get temp bans and are back in a few weeks or a month. Those get taken off the ban list when ended.

Good morning. Day is going slow, work was tedious and now it is time for getting the yard ready for spring. Gotta dig out some stumps, plant some shrubs and dig up the soil where the grass did not grow last year. But I allready had tacos today, two for eating and one for 'eating'.
