So what are your opininons on AI generated CGs in games? I have been seeing a ton of those lately.

Most of the AI games that appear are pure slop, especially the phone games.

I've only played one game that used AI animations sparingly that I was okay with and kinda liked.

I think there's lots of potential once it gets better with cohesive scenes + can create clips longer than a few seconds. Considering how things looked just a year ago vs now - I imagine the majority of new games will utilize AI to generate at least some of the content if not all.

As soon as that technology became available to the average person, what do we do? Make a video of our favorite celebrity getting spitroasted on a kitchen table. I can't stand most AI-generated images, especially porn. It's like if you take the average of every similar image and blend them into new ones, you lose everything that appeals to your niche preferences. I prefer artists whose work suit my tastes more or less, not the combination of everyone's styles or everyone's tastes into one homogenized blob.

Ooo I defi recommend Isaac, it's my most played steam game for a reason :3

I'm currently learning to use Godot to make games, which has it's own language GDScript, I learnt Python in the past tho and it's definitely got some weird things compared to other languages I've used A good one to start with tho! (mb if you already know other languages, being a bit presumptuous <3)

And that sounds about right, I usually don't get too hyped for open world games (not super my thing) but I love the aesthetic and atmosphere of the first game so I'll defi check it out at some point <3
