idk i prefer winter much more than summer. summer here is way too hot to do anything but winter isn't really that cold here either. like 10-20 celsius. i do enjoy going to places where is snows during winter though.
I do prefer winter too. If it's cold you can turn on heater or wear more clothes, but if it's hot you cant do shit, only melt.

Sure if I had a partner :')
Uh… your DMs are about to get flooded.

But honestly, I don’t think people here are that desperate, which is good. Pretty atypical.

Or… do you actually want some thirsty guys?

Honestly, I think you’d want a dehydrated one… because clearly, your kidneys are failing from lack of water 😏💦

Birds of a feather flock together, after all.

I've only gotten a couple of DMs since joining the site, and all have been in good fun/not being weird so ye people have been super chill on these forums :3

I be kinda flirty in this thread anyways so I invite a bit of fun flirting/joking around in this thread at least :3
And do let me know if that ever does become an issue, @ylntla81!
<3 Thank youuu!

Same. I think that’s true for a lot of introverts. You’ve got every reason to just chill under a blanket and do nothing.

I am in an area that doesn't usually dip too far into too cold or too hot. Humidity tends to be the most consistent problem. Rarely get snow, the river takes most of the rain from my house so it doesn't typically flood my yard or cause problems. But I'd say i love the rain. I like staying inside but when it rains i am the opposite. Rain gets me off from my computer or whatever I'm doing assuming im not on a time crunch and just set in the back porch and stay until it stops or the rain gets into the porch to much.

Or just getting the biggest umbrella and just stand there for however long. As long as i got a way to stay dry i love the rain.
I also think people who love winter tend to love rain. I really like that fresh smell right before it gets too damp. Just sitting back, listening to the rain, or watching the raindrops fall. It’s perfect.

Such a detailed write‑up. You’re the GOAT, @Lensk .

A 512 GB SSD is great. My old laptop only has a 100 GB SSD + 1 TB HDD. Do you even need an HDD with that much SSD?

On another topic, what tablet brand do you recommend for mid‑range specs and a mid‑range budget? I hate Apple’s forced account sign‑ins and limited app installs, so I’m leaning toward Samsung or Lenovo. But I’ve heard Samsung also forces you to create an account or else you can’t fully factory reset. What’s the real deal?

FYI, I want to use the tablet for schoolwork, since it’s much more practical for reading e‑books or PDFs while lying in bed.
Update: they can’t fix my old laptop because there are no more spare parts. I can still use it, but the speakers are dead. No sound without earphones. So now I have to play with earphones all the time.

That got me thinking… can I just move the HDD from my old laptop to the new one? The thing holding me back is that the old HDD might fail, and buying a new one for the new laptop is crazy expensive. It’s almost 20% of the laptop’s price.

Please, tech bros… I need your wisdom.

Yeah, it's artists who usually get DMs from me.

Do you know @Silwith ? I think he'd make you laugh quite a bit.

<3 Thank youuu!
You're welcome. I try my best to keep this place good for the community!

Edit:
And very important for everyone to know, my DMs are always open. I may not reply to you right away, but I am here to answer people's questions about the site. If you have questions, you're always welcome to send me a message. Just don't go opening tons of new conversations.

I mean true but in general summer is just more fun, winter is depressing and you get ill half the time

Also is this something you actively participate in? Do both parties need to be aware of such a day? Or is punching the way to tell others of the holiday.
It is a widespread practice -- enjoyed by many - in many different forms

moving your old hdd to a new laptop will be almost impossible because new laptops uselessly use nvmes, so there is no room for it, now you could get an enclosure and make it an external drive.

External hdd's haven't gone up that much have they? Could've swore you could get 2TB for like $100, and as Matt said most use nvme's now. Worst case scenario you can buy a toaster or sata to usb cable for pretty cheap and use that to transfer files over if the laptop completely bricks itself.
