Update: they can’t fix my old laptop because there are no more spare parts. I can still use it, but the speakers are dead. No sound without earphones. So now I have to play with earphones all the time.Such a detailed write‑up. You’re the GOAT, @Lensk .
A 512 GB SSD is great. My old laptop only has a 100 GB SSD + 1 TB HDD. Do you even need an HDD with that much SSD?
On another topic, what tablet brand do you recommend for mid‑range specs and a mid‑range budget? I hate Apple’s forced account sign‑ins and limited app installs, so I’m leaning toward Samsung or Lenovo. But I’ve heard Samsung also forces you to create an account or else you can’t fully factory reset. What’s the real deal?
FYI, I want to use the tablet for schoolwork, since it’s much more practical for reading e‑books or PDFs while lying in bed.
I don't but a glance at the profile and he definitely leaves an impression :3Do you know @Silwith ? I think he'd make you laugh quite a bit.
I mean true but in general summer is just more fun, winter is depressing and you get ill half the timeI do prefer winter too. If it's cold you can turn on heater or wear more clothes, but if it's hot you cant do shit, only melt.
It is a widespread practice -- enjoyed by many - in many different formsAlso is this something you actively participate in? Do both parties need to be aware of such a day? Or is punching the way to tell others of the holiday.
moving your old hdd to a new laptop will be almost impossible because new laptops uselessly use nvmes, so there is no room for it, now you could get an enclosure and make it an external drive.Update: they can’t fix my old laptop because there are no more spare parts. That got me thinking… can I just move the HDD from my old laptop to the new one? The thing holding me back is that the old HDD might fail, and buying a new one for the new laptop is crazy expensive. It’s almost 20% of the laptop’s price.
Please, tech bros… I need your wisdom.

External hdd's haven't gone up that much have they? Could've swore you could get 2TB for like $100, and as Matt said most use nvme's now. Worst case scenario you can buy a toaster or sata to usb cable for pretty cheap and use that to transfer files over if the laptop completely bricks itself.Update: they can’t fix my old laptop because there are no more spare parts. Hiya! me too I just don't have the gif to prove it :3 (stalked your profile for a lil bit and you seem cool also <3)
Good luck man
Definitely just get a hdd enclosure and make it into an external transfer everything off of it onto the new laptop that you wanted and can keep it around as an external after if you want to just have a bit more storage. You can also use crystaldiskinfo to check the health of the drive to see if it has any chances of failing soon.Update: they can’t fix my old laptop because there are no more spare parts.
