Honestly, I’m still on the fence about getting a new rig and need a bit of convincing.

My old laptop is currently in for repairs (already being fixed), but even before that, it could run a lot of games I haven’t even tried yet. I’ve got a pretty big backlog of classic and indie titles I want to get through: Fallout 1 through New Vegas, Skyrim + Enderal, Minecraft, Terraria, Hytale, and more. Realistically, I wouldn’t need to touch modern AAA games for a long time.

That said, my PC struggled with Witcher 3 and I couldn’t run Cyberpunk 2077 at all, so I know I’m completely locked out of newer, demanding titles.

One thing that’s making me consider buying a laptop now is the thought that prices might go up in this AI-heavy economy if I wait.

So… convince me

What modern, high-requirement games (Cyberpunk-tier or higher) are actually worth upgrading for? What would make you say, “yeah, this alone justifies a new PC”?

Cyberpunk alone is worth a new pc lol. honestly there are a ton what do you like the ff7 remakes are great, nier if you never played it. THere are many talks about a new vegas remake sometime soon. I would say both the horizons and god of wars, expedition 33 honestly a lot are out there but depends what you really like to play. resident evil including the one coming out this month. IF you have someone to play with split fiction was really good also recommend playing through dispatch. list could go on lol.

But seriously, is it true that EA puts minimal effort into those games? Like, they just reuse the same engine from previous titles and only update the players.

If true, EA really needs some real competition in the sports game space. Like how Palworld is filling the role for Pokémon.

Hopefully we get something similar for EA so they actually have to step up.

Shouldn't be too bad with a mage build and/or a good keybinding setup (i play with keyboard/mouse). But i also can see it causing pain, i tend to get neck pain when playing such a game for too long

I’d recommend Stardew Valley. It opened my eyes to farming and crafting sims in general, and it actually made me want to try Minecraft, Terraria, and even Harvest Moon.

Such a good set of games! Have you tried those other ones yet?

Oooo Stardew Valley is a must play, the first time I played Stardew was a beautiful time, am jealous you get to experience that :3

i haven't played bloodborne as it's consol only but out of the other FromSoftware games i think ER reigns supreme. Open World mechanic and you can just run around and explore, if something is too demanding, no problem do something else and come back later. Also the game looks awesome and the world is beautifully constructed.

Yes I am the sole reason for Ea's yearly slop release, no they actually put a lot of effort into it over the past 2 years, game feels fun again for once, not too sure what they could change from this year to next really.

I normally only sub to creators I really like and normally around release times, other than that I prefer buying outright. Also there's a lot of h-games that couldn't release on steam, any that use honey select or koitatsu couldn't because of copyright reasons.
