I sail the high seas, yo-ho-ho (if you know, you know), so online games are a no-go.

That said, I do want to buy games I’ve enjoyed, gotta support the devs somehow.

I get you, if I do buy games I'll buy the keys for a different region that sells them much cheaper. Did it for both FC26(I'm addicted to these games and keep saying "I won't buy it this year" but then keep buying them anyway) and battlefield 6, here the games were like $80 and was able to get Chinese keys for like $20-25 instead, I have a separate steam account for these keys.

Are you excited for ConcernedApe’s next project, Chocolatier Factory?

Times are tough and have been for a long time. I would love to buy games and support devs, but money is so tight, I've got no margins.

@ImN0tDon is basically the reason EA’s yearly sports slop is still a thing… Just kidding

But seriously, is it true that EA puts minimal effort into those games? Like, they just reuse the same engine from previous titles and only update the players.

If true, EA really needs some real competition in the sports game space. Like how Palworld is filling the role for Pokémon.

Hopefully we get something similar for EA so they actually have to step up.

You reminded me of Red Dead Redemption 2.
It sits for years now readily on my drive and waits to be played together with GTA V, Cyberpunk 2077, Anno 1800, Postal 4, Doom Eternal, Kingdome Come Deliverance 2 and Stardew Valley.

When will I find motivation to play it all?

Man Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the best games ever to me honestly. Hada rough launch but after the phantom liberty dlc and the updates its crazy good.

It was sweet to know you all. But my time has come and I need to go.

I get it. That’s why we’re here trying to get free stuff instead of subscribing to Patreon

That said, I’d be more into a one-time payment for adult games rather than a monthly subscription.

Like, just buying them whenever they hit Steam or another platform.

Honestly, I’m still on the fence about getting a new rig and need a bit of convincing.

My old laptop is currently in for repairs (already being fixed), but even before that, it could run a lot of games I haven’t even tried yet. I’ve got a pretty big backlog of classic and indie titles I want to get through: Fallout 1 through New Vegas, Skyrim + Enderal, Minecraft, Terraria, Hytale, and more. Realistically, I wouldn’t need to touch modern AAA games for a long time.

That said, my PC struggled with Witcher 3 and I couldn’t run Cyberpunk 2077 at all, so I know I’m completely locked out of newer, demanding titles.

One thing that’s making me consider buying a laptop now is the thought that prices might go up in this AI-heavy economy if I wait.

So… convince me

What modern, high-requirement games (Cyberpunk-tier or higher) are actually worth upgrading for? What would make you say, “yeah, this alone justifies a new PC”?

Cyberpunk alone is worth a new pc lol. honestly there are a ton what do you like the ff7 remakes are great, nier if you never played it. THere are many talks about a new vegas remake sometime soon. I would say both the horizons and god of wars, expedition 33 honestly a lot are out there but depends what you really like to play. resident evil including the one coming out this month. IF you have someone to play with split fiction was really good also recommend playing through dispatch. list could go on lol.

I'm into Pokémon lately, and I'm playing their old games like black and white. Pokémon Day is coming this month, and I'm anticipating what they'll announce, but I don't have high hopes since they have made slop for years.

I've heard some of the rumored leaks however, and maybe it won't be so bad. I refuse to buy there new stuff, but I might try Legends Arceus since people say that's the best switch game.

You should check out the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon series too. It’s untainted by Game Freak since it’s developed by Chunsoft.

They really need to stop being afraid to innovate and release games like Pokémon Legends: Arceus more often.

Being unemployed for some time doesn't sound too bad. Maybe soon. Who knows? There are places I would like to visit and this time I don't mean a childish oversexualized joke like visiting @ylntla81! sex dungeon.
In the fan fic of my own life I would be shizo and like it. Finally someone who is like me, that I can talk to the whole day, eventually a third one would join.

I got still that taste of peel in my mouth and my face/clothes are still kinda sticky.

I played a mystery dungeons game when I was a kid. I have fond memories about it. It's been a while, but I think I still have the one I had for the DS.

Which got me thinking… would you fuck the genderbent version of yourself?

And taking it even further, would you have kids with yourself? How many degrees of incest would that even be? And how inbred would those kids end up?

Absolutely disgusting thinking about such things.. but yes I would.

Not @ylntla81! 's, yet.

[Foo]

i could imagine it working on an older pc, don't think it's so demanding.

Shouldn't be too bad with a mage build and/or a good keybinding setup (i play with keyboard/mouse). But i also can see it causing pain, i tend to get neck pain when playing such a game for too long

I'll have to try again. I think I on DS3 and ER. Maybe BloodBorne too. Which do you recommend?

i haven't played bloodborne as it's consol only but out of the other FromSoftware games i think ER reigns supreme. Open World mechanic and you can just run around and explore, if something is too demanding, no problem do something else and come back later. Also the game looks awesome and the world is beautifully constructed.

Yes I am the sole reason for Ea's yearly slop release, no they actually put a lot of effort into it over the past 2 years, game feels fun again for once, not too sure what they could change from this year to next really.

I normally only sub to creators I really like and normally around release times, other than that I prefer buying outright. Also there's a lot of h-games that couldn't release on steam, any that use honey select or koitatsu couldn't because of copyright reasons.

Still waiting for a bloodborne pc release, I'm sure it's right around the corner

Good to hear. I might hate EA for shutting down studios and killing off Dead Space sequels, but credit where it’s due. Sports game fans are eating good.

Sorry for calling you a slop eater, you’re a gourmet eater.
